United Women v Chelsea at OT - secure your seat!

Saturday 23 March 2024 11:00

Manchester United’s final home game of the 2023/24 Women’s Super League (WSL) season will be played at Old Trafford, where we will host Chelsea on 18 May.

The switch to the Theatre of Dreams will allow another huge crowd to witness two of the best teams in the WSL go head-to-head in what is sure to be a fantastic season-concluder, featuring some of the best players in the world.

This grand finale, set to kick off at 15:00 BST, will mark the sixth occasion that United Women have played at Old Trafford since the team’s inception in 2018 and follows a club record WSL attendance of 43,615 at the iconic stadium for the Manchester derby in November.

Tickets are available here.

The game is a repeat of last year’s FA Cup final against Chelsea, which was watched by 77,390 people at Wembley Stadium, a record for a women’s domestic football fixture.

Attendances across the WSL have soared once more this year, with United's season tickets selling out for the first time, in 2023/24.

Polly Bancroft, our head of women’s football, said: “Playing at Old Trafford is always special for everyone connected with Manchester United Women.

“We are fully committed to driving the long-term growth of the team, and a key element of that is making Old Trafford a second home by consistently attracting large crowds and delivering a great experience for our fans.

“The appetite for women’s football couldn’t be more apparent and hosting this fixture against Chelsea at Old Trafford will be another great occasion for women’s football.”

As we near the business end of the season there are just a handful of home games left including that showdown at the Theatre of Dreams, and the Adobe Women's FA Cup semi final clash with Chelsea at Leigh Sports Village in April.
